In a pivotal WIAA Sectional Semifinal on October 30, the Union Grove High School Broncos showcased their dominance in a home soccer clash against Tenor Veritas Academy. With a final score of 5-1, the Broncos emphatically secured their advancement to the Sectional Finals.
The match started explosively with the Broncos taking an early lead thanks to Cam DaPra, who scored the opening goal in the 3rd minute. The momentum continued as E. Barsch quickly followed up with two goals at the 4th and 16th minutes, demonstrating the team's aggressive offensive capabilities. Niall Hagen and Danielson further fortified the lead, striking at the 27th and 33rd minutes, respectively. Notably, Hagen also contributed two assists alongside O. Sheahan's contributions. This collective effort was backed by Finn Jacobs, who manned the goal throughout the eventful encounter.
