In the third quarter, the Lady Barons made attempts to close the gap, with Tia Floyd and Sydney Beasley hitting three-pointers, but the Tigers maintained their dominance. Stillman's lead grew to 18 points by the end of the quarter. The Lady Barons' situation worsened in the fourth as they struggled offensively against Stillman's strong defense. Following the game, Head Coach Steve Edwards expressed dissatisfaction with the team's performance.

"We played uninspired basketball today. Today is probably the most embarrassed I've ever been as a coach. I have to do a better job of getting us prepared and putting us in a position to be successful. I didn't do that today, and it showed. We will be a better team soon. We have a lot of work to do."
