Soccer Showdown: Keystone School Dominates at TAPPS Fall Soccer Showcase
In an impressive display of skill and teamwork, The Keystone School's men's soccer team clinched victory at the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools Fall Soccer Showcase, held on August 25, 2025, at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex. Under sunny skies and challenging hot, dry conditions, Keystone emerged unbeaten with a stellar 5-0 record, outperforming 11 participating schools.
Led by star player Jack Jude, who earned the Golden Boot for his outstanding total of 8 goals, Keystone's offensive prowess was unmatched. Additionally, Keystone's goalkeeper Garrett Hansen was awarded the Golden Glove after allowing only four goals and securing three clean sheets throughout the tournament.
The event saw strong competition from runner-up Christian Heritage School, which posted an admirable 4-1 record. However, Keystone's consistent performance across all matches solidified their top position. In reflecting on the season and the showcase, Executive Director Bryan Bunselmeyer stated,
"The 2025 Fall Soccer Season is in full swing once again. We gladly hosted 11 schools from across Texas in Round Rock for the fifth TAPPS Fall Soccer Showcase. Best wishes to all of our fall soccer teams as they continue their seasons."
TAPPS looks forward to returning to Round Rock on November 3-4, 2025 as we host the Fall Soccer Final Four tournament.
