In a commanding display, the Taft College Cougars women's volleyball team emerged victorious against the Solano College Falcons in the 2nd round NorCal playoffs on November 25, 2025, at Taft. The Cougars, maintaining an impressive current record of 29-2, secured a clean sweep with a final score of 3-0.
The match opened with Taft College gaining momentum early, concluding the first set with a 25-19 victory. This initial success was mirrored in the second set, where they once again defeated the Falcons with the same score. The third and final set saw the Cougars increase their domination, finishing at 25-15, thereby sealing their win decisively.
Notable performances included Shylah Pulu-Valdez leading with 9 kills and 2 block errors. Teammates Jazzahlei Satele and Ku'ulei Manaois both added 8 kills each; Satele also contributed 10 digs and 2 aces.
