In a thrilling Division 3 State Championship game held at Historic Crew Stadium on November 8, 2025, the Bay Rockets Girls Soccer team emerged victorious against Badin High School. Under sunny skies and 60-degree weather, the Rockets maintained a strong defensive stance throughout the match, leading to a final score of 1-0.
The match's pivotal moment came 15 minutes before halftime, when Freshman Meg Webster, assisted by Lily Kazma, found the back of the net, securing the only goal of the game. This goal proved decisive, etching the Rockets' name on the championship title for the second consecutive year. Bay's goalkeeper duties were split between Olivia Ruma in the first half and Riley Mitchell in the second, both of whom contributed to the clean sheet against Badin.
Coach's reflections post-match highlighted the unique spirit and commitment of the team, praising their work rate, energy, attitude, and enthusiasm.
