Boy's Soccer Secures 1st Win of the Season Over Frankel Jewish Academy
In a gripping CHSL League encounter at Venture Park on a sunny day, Bishop Foley High School varsity soccer team emerged victorious over the Frankel Jewish Academy Jaguars, clinching a 2-1 win on August 29, 2924.
Bishop Foley displayed commendable teamwork and skill throughout the game, leading to goals scored by Max Ensley and Zachary Niphoratos. Niphoratos's critical second half goal secured the win for his team, marking a significant moment in the match. Goalkeeper Zane Taulbee also played a pivotal role, making crucial saves that contributed to the team's success.
Player Max Ensley shared his thoughts on the team's performance, stating,
"We moved the ball pretty well throughout the game, communicating and finding each other, and then some other things that need improvement, but we will build on that throughout the course of the season. Overall, great feeling getting that first win under our belts."
