Tad Dobek has been a familiar name in the baseball circles around Michigan, having been involved with the sport since he was just three years old. Besides his commitment to his high school team, he has also played for the Michigan Brewers Organization, showcasing his talent in both third base and pitching roles. His career has been illustrious, with recognitions such as 2x CHSL All-League, 2x All-District, and an All-State Academic honors. He also boasts three MHSAA District Championships and a CHSL Regular Season Championship under his belt.

The decision to join Indiana Tech was described by Dobek as a thoughtful one, influenced by his faith, family, and the support of his coaches and friends.

"After much time and thought, I am happy to announce that I will be continuing my academic and baseball career at Indiana Tech University,"

said Dobek.

"I would like to first thank God and my parents for the strength and wisdom to even be in this position. I would also like to thank all of my coaches, teammates, and friends who have helped me along my journey."

Bishop Foley's Athletic Director, Mike Maltese, expressed his enthusiasm for Dobek's future at Indiana Tech.

"Bishop Foley is extremely proud and excited for Tad and his family on his recent baseball commitment to Indiana Tech University. He excels not only in the classroom, but on the diamond as well. Indiana Tech is getting a good one!"
