The game started unfavorably for the Lady Ventures, trailing Cabrini 29-20 at halftime. However, the team showcased remarkable resilience, overcoming a double-digit deficit to bring the game to a nail-biting conclusion in the final seconds. Mary Maltese led the scoring with a career-high 16 points, followed by Elanor Barnes with 10 points, and Zemma Kenny contributing 8 points.

Zemma Kenny shared her thoughts after the game, stating,

"I am really proud of the team and the way we were able to take care of the ball against a tough defensive team. We played our hearts out, and even though the game didn’t go our way at the end, we left everything on the floor. We will get back to practice and continue to work hard and put our best foot forward."
