Bishop Foley Hires Jessica Fett as New Varsity Volleyball Head Coach

Bishop Foley High School has officially announced the appointment of Jessica Fett as the new Head Coach for the Varsity Volleyball team. Bringing a rich coaching background and enthusiasm for volleyball, Fett steps up from her previous role with BFC where she led the freshman team.
Previously, Jess held the position of Freshman Head Volleyball Coach at Bishop Foley for one year. Her coaching career is highlighted by significant achievements including the MHSAA Sub-Varsity Volleyball Regional Coach of the Year Award in 2016 while at Croswell-Lexington High School. Her leadership there also earned her team the BWAC League Championship title, along with guiding the freshman team to two consecutive BWAC league titles in prior years.
Bishop Foley's Athletic Director, Mike Maltese expressed his enthusiasm about Coach Fett's promotion.
"We are excited to bring in Jess's past coaching and playing success here to BFC. Her attention to detail and emphasis on skill development is what drives her success as a coach. We are excited to see the continued growth this coming Fall,"
said Maltese, accentuating the high expectations from Fett's coaching capabilities.
Echoing her new role's excitement, Coach Fett shared,
"My passion for volleyball started when I was just 9 years old when I started playing and I still play to this day in adult leagues around the metro Detroit area. I played Club at Central Michigan, where we got 5th at the NCVF nationals my senior year. After coaching the Bishop Foley freshmen team last year, I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to take over as Varsity coach this year!"
With her extensive coaching background and a deep personal connection to volleyball, Jessica Fett is poised to usher in a new era for the Lady Ventures, aiming for continuity in success and further achievements on the court.
