Pitcher Tad Dobek also had an impressive outing, throwing for eight innings with 13 strikeouts while only allowing one earned run of the seven scored by The Lakers. The Ventures also showcased their strength on the bases, stealing a total of 11 bases.

In the second game of the doubleheader, Bishop Foley continued their dominant form, dispatching The Lakers 12-2 in just five innings. Early runs were crucial, with Bishop Foley setting up a 7-0 lead by the second inning, aided by constant pressure and exploiting their opponent's errors. Kanar continued his excellent form, adding a two-run homer, while Cooper Dolot and Carson Coles contributed with impactful hits. Kanar claimed the win as pitcher this time, giving up only two hits and two runs across five innings and striking out nine.
