Father Gabriel Richard High School Celebrates Charlotte Miller's 1,000 Point Milestone
In an electrifying display of skill and determination, Charlotte Miller, senior captain of the Father Gabriel Richard High School girls’ basketball team, achieved a landmark 1,000 career points on December 23, 2024, against Mercy. This significant accomplishment not only marks a personal milestone for Charlotte Miller but also highlights her exceptional contributions to the Fighting Irish squad over her high school career.
Charlotte Miller, who currently holds school records in points (1,001), three-pointers made (153), steals (197), and assists (340), was lauded by her head coach, Tim Cain, for her all-around capabilities on the court. 'So incredibly proud of this girl right now,' said Coach Cain. 'Everything she has accomplished is absolutely earned!! The definition of a complete player.'
The school athletic director, Mickey Redmond, also extended his congratulations, reflecting on the broader impact of her achievements. 'Congratulations to Charlotte Miller on reaching an incredible milestone: 1,000 career points for FGR Basketball! Your relentless work ethic, passion, and leadership have inspired your teammates, coaches, and the entire FGR community,' expressed AD Redmond. As the Fighting Irish continue their season, Charlotte Miller's milestone adds a remarkable chapter to her already impressive sports journey, setting a high standard for future athletes at Father Gabriel Richard High School. The Irish improve to 7-0 on the season. They look forward to their next test on December 28, 2024, against a very talented Belleville team. The goal for the team is a state championship trophy!
