In a riveting display of skill and control, the Niagara University Rugby team clinched a commanding victory over Buffalo State with a score of 37-15 on September 29, 2024, at SUNY Buffalo State's Coyer Stadium. This win extends their flawless season record to 4-0.
Niagara's offensive strength was on full display as Jaden Cusprinie '26, Sean Dailor '26, Rashad Price '28, Ryan Masten '27, and Ben Gambino '28 combined to score a total of seven tries, with Ryan '27 and Ben '28 scoring twice each. Conversions by John Rovente further solidified the team's dominance throughout the match. Defensive efforts were equally impressive, with standout performances noted from Charlie Marzec '26, Kameron Olden '28, and Tremaine Tigg '28, whose tackling was crucial in blunting the opposing offense.
Coach Chapman praised the team's performance and the physical nature of the match, stating,
