On February 27, 2025, the Brewton-Parker Barons faced off at the Mid-South Conference tournament. The Barons were led by an incredible performance from Jamesa Robinson, who took home fifth place in the 117 weight class and secured a spot at nationals.

Jamesa won over Callie Payton of Lindsey Wilson College with a technical fall 15-4 in 5:38 for her first match. She then won over Riley Horvath of Indiana Tech via Technical fall in 1:59. In the consolation semifinals, she lost to Shammilka Miranda from the University of the Cumberlands via fall in 2:32. Jamesa rallied and won her fifth place match to secure herself the opportunity to wrestle at nationals with a decision of 10-3 over Elizabeth Dollar from Indiana Tech.

The Barons hope Kathleen Fisher will qualify for a wildcard spot after her season numbers. They await the decision and will begin prepping for the Nationals, which will be held in Kansas City, Missouri, on February 15, 2025.
