Avon Eagles fall just short in Southwest Conference Baseball Showdown

The Avon High School Eagles fell to the Berea-Midpark Titans in a closely contested Southwest Conference baseball game on April 21, 2025. The matchup, held at Crushers Stadium under sunny and cool conditions, ended with a 6-4 score in favor of the conference rival Berea-Midpark Titans.
Senior pitcher Luke Holtzman started the game for the Eagles, setting a competitive tone early in the event. Avon’s performance was highlighted by notable hits from Senior #30 Jason Gillespie, Senior #7 Sam Spike, Senior #15 Andrew Falasco, and Sophomore #35 Bryce Chura, all contributing to the team's four runs.
