Ramser's performance was highlighted by his physical play and by making two critical free throws late in the fourth quarter, securing the team's lead. Moreover, the Eagles' defense was particularly strong in the third quarter, limiting the Warriors to just three points.

Assistant Coach PJ Flannery commented on the game's intensity, stating,

"Hard work beats talent every day and for awhile, Walsh just wanted it more than we did. We played great in the third quarter and then got a bit too casual. A tough win though to protect home court to set the table for watching my dad and my brother face off against each other in the Varsity game."

This win brings the St. Edward Freshman Gold's season record to 8-1.

Looking ahead, the next challenge for St. Edward will be an away game against St. Ignatius on January 20, 2025 in the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Green & Gold doubleheader at Ignatius.
