Boys Soccer has dominant performance at Lake MillsTournament to earn a Championship

On September 20, 2025, the Baraboo Thunderbirds Boys Varsity Soccer team triumphed in a dominant performance at the Lake Mills High School, sealing the championship against formidable opponents in a tournament featuring Delavan-Darien and Lake Mills. In the initial match against the Delavan-Darien Comets, Baraboo set a powerful pace with Brayden Ferrera-Hunter opening the scoring, followed by spectacular strikes from Kai Hollenbeck-Smith and Isaiah Romano Thompson who netted a hat-trick, sealing a decisive 5-1 victory. Halftime had seen Baraboo already in the lead, 1-0. The second game saw the Thunderbirds facing the Lake Mills L-Cats, where once again, Brayden Ferrera-Hunter and Justin-Lee Penn managed to find the back of the net. Despite humid conditions, the Thunderbirds preserved their stamina and tactical prowess to end the match with a 2-1 win, leading with a commanding 2-0 at halftime.
