In an OHC North regular season game, the Panthers fell to their opponents with a final score of 9-11.

The game was notable for its seesaw nature. The Panthers initially grabbed the lead in the top of the first innings, only to face a substantial six-run deficit after Mechanicsburg's strong showing in the bottom of the third. However, the Panthers were undeterred and demonstrated their grit and passion by storming back in the top of the fourth, putting six runs on the board, tightening the score.

Maddi Sines showcased an impressive performance during the game, leading the Panthers with four hits. Her offensive contributions were augmented by key runs from her teammates, including Hailey Dee, Anna Dulle, Macy Kise, Elizabeth Gregory, Tiffini Harper, and Claire Meihls.

Macy Kise, the starting pitcher for the Panthers, had a solid showing through six innings, surrendering eight hits and striking out six batters. However, the Panthers faced challenges in the field, accumulating a total of five errors, which proved to be a critical factor in the outcome of the game.

Coach Sine acknowledged the team's spirit, saying she was

"very proud how they fought back."

Looking ahead, the Panthers will aim to bounce back against West Jefferson High School on April 22 as they continue to build on their current 10-1-1 season record.
