Bay High School Rockets Shine at Comet Relays in Amherst

At the Comet Relays in Amherst, Ohio, on April 26, 2025, Bay High School's track and field athletes delivered remarkable performances. Kieran Ripley and Michael Hanselman stood out with top finishes in their respective events, demonstrating their readiness for the upcoming postseason.
Kieran Ripley showed strategic finesse in the 3200m race, securing the 4th place with a 10-second personal record. His performance was a testament to his adaptability in track events, having excelled in various distances over the past weeks. Michael Hanselman also made his mark by claiming the 3rd place in the 1600m race, challenging top middle-distance runners and pushing hard until the end.
In the distance medley relay (DMR), Ripley and Hanselman joined forces with Ben Kamm and Brennen Lyons. The team competed against a tough division one lineup and managed to take 6th place, highlighting their competitive spirit and teamwork.
