Varsity Hockey Secures NHC Red Division Championship

The Varsity Hockey team clinched the 2024-25 NHC Red Division Championship with an unbeaten record of 12-0 in the league.
Over the weekend, Varsity Hockey faced off against a trio of rivals, Bowling Green, Findlay, and Anthony Wayne. On Thursday, the Knights defeated Bowling Green 10-0. Drew Tucker '25 led the way with a hat trick. On Friday, the Knights won a thriller vs Findlay by scoring 5 shorthanded goals in a 9-5 victory. Jaxon Duncan '26 led the way with 5 goals, Jamison Rose '25 added 3 goals, and Drew Tucker '25 added a goal. The regular season concluded on Saturday when the Knights defeated Anthony Wayne 10-0. This trio of wins highlights the team's dominance throughout the league season.
Knight Hockey secured the league championship while showcasing their overwhelming prowess by outscoring their opponents 83-15 in league matches. Their current season record stands impressively at 27-6.
As the Knights celebrate their league championship, focus shifts to the OHSAA State Playoffs. The Knights are the #1 seed in the region and will begin their run to the State Final Four this Saturday, February 15th at 1:30pm at the Slater Family Ice Arena - BGSU.
