Despite a challenging weather condition, the Bulldogs showcased their resilience and determination. The halftime scoreboard read Loyola 32, Lutheran Northwest 19, reflecting a strong first half by the Bulldogs. Momentum shifted in the Bulldogs' favor during a critical moment in the 4th quarter when Eric Jones returned a 70-yard kickoff for a touchdown, extending their lead significantly.

Eric Jones, Raylon Murry, and Antonio Vazquez were instrumental in this victory, scoring multiple touchdowns that kept the pressure high on the Crusaders. Additionally, the Bulldogs' defense was formidable, contributing two crucial pick-sixes by Antonio Vazquez and Emauri Beard. The special teams also played a pivotal role, with Eric and Eri’eon Jones enhancing the team's field position with excellent kick returns.

Reflecting on the journey and the victory, player Tristian Abram stated,

"My freshman year we were 1-8 and now look at me, I’m a district champion."

Coach Sims also highlighted the community's role in this triumph,
