From the onset, the Bears experienced a minor setback with a try against them resulting from a blocked kick in the first 30 seconds. However, Brown swiftly regained composure and control, dominating the field and preventing Siena from scoring any more tries for the remainder of the match. By halftime, Brown had established a solid lead with a score of 24-10. Key players such as Garrett Mann, who scored twice, and other single-try scorers Matt Schwab, Asa Rosenmeier, Finley Brown, Inigo Langford, Fred Hughes, and Theo Romero, contributed to widening the gap. Conversions by Tito Edjua, succeeding on four out of seven attempts, further cemented the Bears' formidable performance.

Coach David Laflamme praised the resilience and consistency of his team,

"Siena is a quality opponent and is excellently coached. They were coming off a close loss against another strong team in the conference, AIC, and so we knew they were going to come out firing and look to get up on us early. They capitalized on our mistakes early to take a lead and keep things close for most of the first half, but credit to our guys for staying the course and putting in a consistent performance throughout the match to overcome the deficit and keep advancing our lead throughout the second half."

Next week's match against Iona University is scheduled for September 20, 2025, to be held at Mazzella Field in New Rochelle, New York. The Iona Gaels are 0-1 coming off an explosive match against Liberty Conference contender AIC, having lost that match 62-38, and had their week 1 match against Harvard postponed due to weather.
