From the very beginning, Brown established their dominance, scoring within the first minute of the match after the smothering Bears' defence blocked an attempted exit kick and had Fordham pinned inside their own goal under loads of pressure. Fordham was able to get the next kick attempt off, but not out to touch, and freshman fullback Inigo Langford gathered the bouncing ball, connected with his back line mates, centers Tito Edjua and Theo Romero on the counterattack, and put away grad student winger Finley Brown on the opposite side of the pitch for the match's first points. Notable player scoring contributions were made throughout the match, including two tries each by Brown and junior flyhalf Ben Shirley. Other scorers included, Garett Mann, Inigo Langford, Asa Rosenmeier, Tripp King, Erik Estienne, Bertie Deen, Henrique Gabriel, and Ben Le Roux. Special recognition goes to grad student King, and freshmen Deen and Le Roux for scoring their first points for Brown's top side. Conversions from Tito Edjua, who successfully executed eight out of eleven attempts, and Fred Hughes (1/2), also helped widen the vast scoring margin.

By halftime, Brown led with a significant lead at 43-5, a difference that only expanded in the second half. Even with the disadvantage of playing with 14 players for the first 10 minutes due to a yellow card, Brown managed to score three tries during this phase without allowing Fordham any points. In the end, the Bears nearly matched their first-half points total, amassing another 40 points in the second. On the club putting on quite the show during the Family Weekend festivities, Head Coach David Laflamme commented,

"Our club enjoys a truly special community of supporters, and obviously our players' parents and families are a huge part of that. It's great that we were able to showcase our program with a stellar performance on the field in front of a great crowd for Family Weekend."

Following this resounding victory, Brown Men's Rugby remains undefeated record of 7-0. The Bears have earned a bit of a hibernation this week as they will enjoy a bye for week 8 on the schedule, and they look forward to their next match on November 1, 2025, at 1 PM against Syracuse at Marvel Field.
