Boys Soccer Team Clinches Victory in Nail-biting Soccer Face-off Against Urbana Hilltoppers
In an intensely fought contest on Saturday night the Piqua Boys Soccer team emerged victorious against the Urbana Hilltoppers with a thrilling 3-2 score at Urbana High School. This non-conference face-off saw the Indians push through to a hard-earned win under warm weather conditions, adding a remarkable victory to their season.
Troy Thompson was a standout for the Indians, netting 2 goals that significantly drove the team to success. Freshman Brennan Angle also scored for the Indians to help the team lock in the win on the road.
Angle was also credited for an assist along with Senior Ty Pettus. The team will be back in action at home on Tuesday when the Indians host Tipp City.
