Aqua Saints Shine at District Tournament, Seton High School Swimmers Break Records

The Seton High School Aqua Saints demonstrated exceptional skill and determination at the District Tournament held on February 15, 2025, delivering standout performances and setting new school records.
In an impressive display of team synergy and individual prowess, the Aqua Saints competed fiercely in a series of events. The team's 200 Medley Relay team, featuring Maddie Roos, Hannah Kallmeyer, Josie Aull, and Camille Smitherman, showcased their coordination and speed. Likewise, the same swimmers shone in the 200 Free Relay, contributing to the team's success.
Maddie Roos was a standout performer, clinching victories in both the 50 Free and 100 Free events. Her remarkable effort in the 50 Free led to a new school record, improving her previous best by a notable .33 seconds. Furthermore, the 200 Free Relay team broke their prior record by .06 seconds, adding to the day's achievements.
These record-breaking performances have earned the Aqua Saints a spot in the upcoming state competition set for February 21 at C.T. Branin Natatorium. The team looks forward to building on their recent successes and competing at an even higher level in the next event.
