By halftime, the scoreboard read 42-17, underscoring the Broncos' control of the game.

Defensively, the Broncos were just as effective. With Johnson and Schultz both registering 3 steals, alongside Cade Sherwood, the team managed to thwart many of Big Foot's efforts. Schultz also emerged as the top rebounder with 8, closely followed by Johnson with 7, fortifying Union Grove's defense and facilitating swift transition chances.

Coach Roettgen praised the team's performance, specifically highlighting their ability to push the tempo, which he believed was critical in creating numerous transition opportunities.
