Unfortunately for the Barons, after taking the momentum and gaining the lead, weather delays prevented the game from being completed. After pushing the game to the next day to complete the bottom of the ninth, the Barons were unable to prevent the Barons from scoring twice to take the game.

As the team prepares for their next challenge against Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College on May 4, they hold a season record of 20 wins, 25 losses, and one tie. The Barons remain in Decatur, Ala., focused on redeeming their narrow loss and pushing further in the postseason tournament.
