The Eagles wasted no time seizing control. They jumped on the Patriots with a convincing opening set and never looked back, showcasing balanced offense, sharp serving, and steady defense. It was exactly the kind of response head coach Alyssa Rock hoped to see after a tough five-set loss to Peru last week and a grueling weekend tournament at Colonie High School.

“This was really a cohesive team win,” Rock said. “They came out and played together, and I was really proud of our effort.”

Sawyer Fleming led the way, filling the stat sheet with six kills, eight aces, and eight assists. Ava Dauphinais also stood out, handing out a team-high 10 assists while delivering eight aces and 22 service points.

“You saw Sawyer and Ava run our offense really well (on Tuesday),” Rock said. “They did a great job distributing our kills between many players, and together they served for 36 of our 75 points.”

Julia Conroy and Jade Burdo chipped in three kills apiece, with Conroy also delivering across the board — nine digs, seven service points, two assists, and two aces.

“Julia’s versatility was a key steadying force for us,” Rock said. “She impacted the game in nearly every statistical category.”

Kylie Bishop anchored the Beekmantown defense with six digs and three aces, while Maeve Sample, Gabby Vassar, and Mia Perez consistently came up with key digs to extend rallies and give the Eagles’ setters solid passing options.

Beekmantown hosts Plattsburgh (4–0) on Thursday at 6 p.m. The Hornets are coming off their own dominant 3–0 win over NAC on Tuesday and have lost only one game across their four matches this season.
