Benedictine High School Bengals Secure Lacrosse Victory Against West Geauga Wolverines

The Benedictine High School varsity lacrosse team triumphed over the West Geauga Wolverines with a final score of 6-3 on the evening of April 22 at Bossu Field.
From the onset, the Benedictine Bengals took control of the game despite a narrow halftime lead of 3-1.
Benedictine's attacking prowess was on full display, with Thaddeus Harris leading the charge by netting two crucial goals and then sealing victory with the game-winning goal. Adding to the scoreline were Wyatt Toth, Lex Herr, and Gabe Heskamp.
A pivotal moment in the game came at a potentially vulnerable juncture in the second half, as West Geauga shortened the lead to 4-2. It was then that Heskamp, one of the pivotal figures in the game, seized the ball from a faceoff and executed a stunning run to achieve the goal that revitalized the team's momentum.
Crucial assists were provided by Thaddeus Harris, Jacob Shean, Finn Titas, and De'Chaun Mathis. In defense, the team relied on Zach Reisner in the goalkeeper position, who allowed only three goals. Additionally, teammates Peter Dalton, Alex Turpin, Fred Bonner, Will Eshghy, Gabe Heskamp and James Tangen made significant contributions by controlling the crucial faceoffs, ensuring possession in Benedictine's favor.
The Bengals, with this win, move on to a season record of 2-7.
Looking ahead, the Benedictine High School lacrosse team is lined up against Cardinal Mooney on April 25.
