Regina Golf Faces Tough Competition at North Star Bank Tournament

The Regina High School Saddlelites Varsity Girls Golf team participated in the North Star Bank Tournament on August 18, 2025, at Kensington Metro Park. The team faced strong competition, competing against 18 other schools in an 18-hole tournament format which saw participation from 91 golfers.
Mady DiLiddo led the team with a score of 99, placing 33rd overall. Nina DiLiddo followed closely behind finishing 36th with a score of 101. Emersen Holder and Annie Artymovich tied for 57th, each scoring 109, while Bailie Jackowski rounded out the team's effort with a score of 120, placing 78th. Collectively, the Saddlelites concluded the competition 12th out of 18 teams with a combined score of 418.
The coach summed up the team's efforts with reflective positivity, highlighting the learning opportunity presented by the tournament. 'Yesterday was a great start to the season. I know the score wasn't what we wanted, but we got out there and saw what we are good at and what needs work. We also seemed to carry ourselves pretty well understanding that a golf tournament is a marathon not a sprint. We pushed on through the ups and downs with grit and determination,' the coach remarked.
Looking ahead, the Regina Golf team will participate in the Tecumseh Invite on August 25th.
